Sailability SA State Championship ~ 24-25 March 2007


A fun and action packed Regatta was held over the weekend at the Goolwa Regatta Yacht Club.
17 competitors with disabilities from South Australia and Victoria competed.

Eight races were held over 2 days for the 202 and 303 Access dinghies and the Olympic Liberty class.
Competitors enjoyed the excellent sailing and the upgraded Club facilities for people with disabilities.

Trophies were awarded to the following competitors

Liberty Class

First ~ Chris Riordan, Adelaide Sailing Club

Second ~ Simon Thiele, Goolwa Regatta Yacht Club

Third ~ Helene Messner, Adelaide Sailing Club


303 Access Dinghies

First ~ Kate Bruce, Goolwa Regatta Yacht Club

Second ~ Adam Seljan, Goolwa Regatta Yacht Club

Third ~ John Hill, Goolwa Regatta Yacht Club


2.3 Access Dinghies
First ~ Martin Waller, Sugarloaf Sailing Club, Vic

The Club Shield was won by the Adelaide Sailing Club.

 

All sailors received medallions donated by Yachting South Australia.
