Yachting SA will appoint delegates to represent the Board on a range of Yachting Australia National Policy Committees.
The appointments may be made considering advice from the Chairperson of a Yachting SA sub-committee.
Yachting SA will appoint delegates, who have the knowledge and experience in the area of interest of each National Committee to be able to contribute constructively to the business of that committee.
It shall be the responsibility of delegates to represent the views of the Board of Yachting SA and its members on any issues discussed at a National Committee meeting.
It shall be the responsibility of all YSA delegates to report after each meeting as soon as practicable to the Board of Yachting SA on any matters, decisions of the committee or recommendations made to Yachting Australia by the National Committee.
All urgent matters should be advised by phone or email to the YSA President and Executive Officer.
The delegate shall not present any personal views, which have not been considered by or are not supported by the Board of Yachting SA, YSA sub-committees or members.
